Have a question about the layout my gear legs. The plans call for 72 " center to center of the tread, all I have are my axels . Maybe someone has a measurement to the end of the axels or maybe I am missing something on the plans. Any help with this would be great . Thanks

Bearing shoulder to centre of wheel is 1.625" I increased the shoulder to the end of the axel and added a washer between the bearing and nut, not required, my preference. The spacing on the bearings in the wheel hub is 3.25" outside to outside and centered on the rim.

Bob once wrote in the Beartracks "Make a mark on each axle that is 3 3/8” outboard of “ring” that your brake calipers mount to. This mark is more or less the center of where your tire will be ." It seems that different wheel and brake combinations may require different spacers.
