TIG Welding Rod

I was looking for welding rod specs and stumbled onto an interesting ad for some lightweight alloy welding rod that uses carbon nano tubes to make it lighter. It’s called advanced process rod 1^st gen (lightweight) and it’s advertised as being 41% lighter than regular steel welding rod and has similar specs to ER80S-D2. I wonder if this would this make much difference in the total aircraft weight in a BH? I don’t know how much welding rod is used in a typical fuselage, but it might be worth looking into. I might order some tomorrow to give it a try. I just wished it was out when I started this project.
