Tire Decision

Made a big and tough decision today regarding tires and tire size. Once I committed to a 6” wheel I had decided on Goodyear 26’s, but the way things are going with none in stock and likely none arriving anytime soon due to shipping issues, I ordered the Aero Classic 850’s today. I have been using 850’s for the past year and a bit and they have been good for my needs, which are 50-50 on and off pavement. Being the GY 26’s are really only 24” OD, I am not giving up much. The plus side is I saved over $1000 and will gain a bit in cruise speed. Well I did not really save the $1000, I just repurposed it to the panel

And my forward visibility over the cowling will be a bit better
