What I like about this engine vs other automotive/adapted aviation engines is that is a 4.3L V6 vs the 2.0 V4. More power at lower RPMs, more constant power being applied, etc. What I really like about these modern engines is the oil cooling, turbocharged, FADEC, and price. Reliablilty has been proven in the sense of these engines being used for thousands of hours in other industries. Although they are proven under load, they have not been proven with thousands of hours under a propellor load.
