I strongly suggest making them as large as you can, at least as big as Jared suggests - there is simply no benefit in having everything fit too tight. Things can happen in life... and you may need to get back in there for some reason. These lines are practically immobile once the build is completed. Having a tight fit in the rib is of little to no benefit.

Just to clarify, if my advice is contrary to the manual, go with the manual. But that is interesting.

Thanks, I will make them a little bigger. It's either that, or bend the tubing, but I am not sure I could make the bend that close to the fitting.

The new wing manual has you prepare one end, and slide the lines in place from the tank side. Once you put on the fittings and flare the other end of the sight gauge lines , it's trapped.

There is very little room if you didn't get the holes perfectly drilled. Two of mine are spot on, but the other two could use a little bit of wiggle room.

I am thinking about upsizing the holes, and then using a combination of tygon tubing and a larger grommet. I would only need to do the inner rib.

    Sound reasonable?
I made my holes bigger to start with. You have to be able to assemble/dissasemble, and I didn't want the fuel line to constrain the movement of the tank.
