Bearhawk Five Flying
Just got a chance to fly the prototype Model Five with Mark on Monday--my initial impression: This thing is a Beast!
Started grinning as the throttle came in and we went from tail up to airborne in nothing flat. The acceleration and climb were awesome! It handled/flew just like Mark's 4 Place only with more thrusties (technical term). From what I saw Monday (MVFR so pattern only ride), the cruise speeds with any ~300hp motor will be C182 or better depending on how you run it, and how fat your tires are...
Can't wait to get mine started.
Whenever any of you get the chance, (whether you're going to build one or not) go fly the Five--you won't regret it.
