This would be obvious for someone with a lathe.
A lathe is needed to make the bell crank, but the lathe bits are useful without a lathe.
The 4130 tubing can be jigged up using an array of lathe bits as needed.
The bits come in sizes 1/16 1/8 3/16 1/4 5/16 3/8 1/2.
I get the cheap ones from use-enco.com
I try not to use magnets for jigging up the parts. I worry that it might set a magnetic field in the tubing.
