I've just finished sanblasting my fuselage, tail feathers and landing gear this past weekend. That was no small feat given that there was a lot of Louisiana rust on everything! I just wanted to pass on something that worked well for me.
I purchased an upgrade kit for a Harbor Freight sandblast cabinet. This basically converts it from a siphon tube to a bottom feed eductor. The kit is sold by Tacoma Company. I've had the kit for about a year and have been very pleased with the performance of the blast cabinet. This past weekend I used the same cabinet to blast the big parts. Mike at Tacoma sent me some extra long (10 feet) pressure and sand hose. This allowed me to blast the fuselage using the cabinet as a bin for the media. Worked really well. Only problem was a pebble that I didn't sieve. Cleared in two minutes. I did use a rented diesel compressor so that my shop compressor would not be running continuously.

Talk to Mike. He is very knowledgeable and will talk to you all day about sandblasting. Good guy. They are a little old fashioned and don't have a huge internet storefront. Mostly work through phone. They do have products on ebay.
