And I have touched the pin with a file and it has helped. I will do some more filing on the pin tip. I can see that helping the situation as well. ... -
I will jack up the rear and see how it locks. I think it locks fairly well jacked up...no load, and can spin it to the rear ...it just takes soooo much...Leave a comment:

I did remove all at once...after I did that is when I loaded up to gross weight and realized at that weight I needed the spacer out. It is an O360 so...Leave a comment:

Vertical fin was slightly modified just to extend dorsal..previously done by someone else for float plane benefits is my guess. Ended up a little heavy...skylight,...Leave a comment:

bearhawk 4 place complete!
After 7 years, my Bearhawk has finally taken to the air. 2 flights, 2.4 hours and i absolutely love it. I am so looking forward to learning everything...You do not have permission to view this gallery.

I've flown 99% of my flying off of grass. 1650 foot grass strip 75 foot trees at one end. Clear the other way. Currently flying off pavement...CYKF....Leave a comment:

Tailwheel king pin angle
I feel I have too much positive king pin angle and taxiing would be improved if set closer to vertical..I have a bob tailwheel, and the flat spring set...Last edited by Gary Wallace; 07-25-2022, 08:36 PM.
