Mineral Canyon Bearhawk Campout

Sort of a long story about how we all hooked up, yesterday two cubs and 4 4-place bearhawks descended on Mineral Canyon strip in the Green River canyon west of Moab. We enjoyed hiking, comparing notes on our planes, the stunning scenery, comradery and desert camping. Picture of the group of Bearhawk pilots, and companions: From left Rod, Pat, Kevin, Scott, May Beth and Delalue? Pat, Kevin, Scott and May Beth took off this morning for another night of camping at Mexican Mountain, I and my cub companions unfortunately had obligations requiring us to return home. Looking forward to the next time we get together at a back country strip.

Very cool, not far south of me! I love Mineral Canyon, Mexican Mountain and of course Hidden Splendor.
 
That Ursa Buteo is a real standout... experimental at its finest. Great pics thanks for sharing!
