I've pasted few more photos of my gull wing doors, See link below. What I did to clear the struts was to raise the lower sill in the forward area by 2". I don't have any drawing of the mods. Everything was custom fit/build in place.

Yes I did fabricate the cowling, but I bought the air intake scoop from Van's. It requires a fair amount of cutting and re-glassing to make it fit to the lower aluminum cowling. The air scoop was riveted in place. I've added few photos of the air intake during the construction process.

Could you please show a few more details of the gull wing doors how they open etc. its not urgent just when you get a chance.
BTW the paint scheme is very very cool.
