  • Bearhawk LSA Log

I’ve started a log and will try to update occasionally, hopefully it will be helpful to others as I have learned a lot from other builders siteshttps://eaabuilderslog.org/?s=ABell

Thanks! Always nice to have more details to look at as I work on my project. There are a couple of photos in your log which seem to show u-channel skin stiffeners between center ribs. Is this what I am seeing? Just curious, because that's something I'd be interested in knowing about. I know nose-skin stiffeners were added as an option on the Patrol, and two aft of main spar stiffeners added on larger Bearhawks. But the LSA too?

      Frank,
My LSA kit was the last one built without the extra skin stiffeners. My understanding is that the plans now show them.

Yep that’s the way the kit came
