  • Happy, Happy New Year - Fuselage out the Jig!

Big Milestone yesterday. Got the fuselage off the jig table and starting the cluster welding phase. Today I got cluster #1 done. I started working on the fuselage on October 30th. So it took about 230 hours over two months to get to this stage. I'm a pretty slow builder, not efficient like Eric. I've really enjoyed this part of the build. I've learned to think in circles - when coping tubing. Didn't make as many wind chimes as I thought I would have.

Really appreciate all the help along with way with the questions I had. Even when I was asking the wrong questions to the wrong people!

I think I only have 71 more clusters to go! My dad used to tell me all the time - "Don't count the rows, just plow."

    Happy, Happy New Year!

      Slow?
Like most of us, with "life" always looming in the background, I'd say you're doing pretty well.
      Thanks for sharing your progress.
      Nice job!
