You guys all probably already know this type of stuff....but in case not
My computer savvy 19 year old son showed me today how to view my Patrol Plans on my iPad. The first objective is to get a pdf file of the plans using an Application called CamScanner. It's purpose is to use the phone camera to take a photo of each sheet of the plans, and then it enhances and makes the image into a single pdf file, I also used the Application to send the PDF file to myself via e-mail.
I then opened up the file on my iPad using my favorite PDF view called Goodreader. The clarity of the plans image on my iPad exceeds my expectations. Outstanding.
I just got my plans about a week ago, and I travel. Now I can study the plans on the road without lugging then with me or worrying about damaging them.
