At Oshkosh a few years ago, I talked to the SMA (now Continental) folks about their aerodiesel. They wouldn't even consider selling me one as an experimental builder. I wonder if that thought has changed with the Continental acquisition?

The CD-230 is in an RV-10 now and apparently Continental has him under a NDA and doing lots of testing, like they won't release him to fly his plane until they analyze oil samples and such. I wonder how the financials behind that work?

Ah, and here's the reply I got from said -10 owner regarding fueling.

"Since the "duck billed" fuel nozzles won't fit, I acquired a 1 1/2" straight jet nozzle that fits the fuel dispenser. If the truck or SS pump don't have this already as an option, its just a quick swap before filling up.

I do carry a funnel in case I run across a dispenser that isn't the brand of the adapter I purchased.

        Haven't used it yet."

        So I'll just do that
