  • Cleveland parking brake

I received my brake today in the mail and to test it I ran air in one side and then closed the valve. Seemed to me that the valve should stop the flow of air but it did not. Am I missing something?

Some parking brakes allow you to apply brake while the brake is set, they only stop the fluid from returning, if that makes sense. If its the type that you can release by stepping on the brakes, then it would make sense that the air would continue to flow towards the wheels, maybe test it with the air going the other direction.
