  • My effort on the RV FAB and scoop

I know this topic comes up every now and then. I am going to offer this link as maybe a reference if any of you are considering using the Van's Filter Air Box and cowling scoop. I fiberglassed the tunnel of the scoop today. I'm 50 hours in and still have finish work to do. The hours are relative, I'm obviously a slow builder. Bet most could be done in half that time and have better method and results.

I used Jared's website a lot as a reference for my effort.

There is even a comparison of the RV-4 vs the RV-6 scoop if you are trying to decide. May help. Hope so.

John, you might not be the fastest builder, but you do some mighty nice work!
