Hello All,
I sent a new prototype mount to Mike Creek for testing and he recently posted a video of him flying low through a canyon. I originally sent the prototype to Georg but after his unfortunate accident, he put me in touch with Mike. This same prototype is also being tested on a Rans S6 and an Interstate Cadet so the mount will fit a wider range of models then the current one I sell which was specifically designed for the Cessna & Stinson 108.
Here is a link to the video: http://vimeo.com/89347437
at 2:33 you can see a coyote freaking out with the low pass...
The Bearhawk has a bit more vibration then the diminutive 172 I fly so the video has a bit more jello than normal, but I think it still looks great. This was the first try and I have asked Mike to place the camera a bit higher on the strut closer to the wing junction since that area may have less vibration since its more rigid there. Also in the video he was throttling up and down quite a bit which sends more vibration on and off through the air-frame.
I will have these in production shortly. Anyone interested may contact me at my email below and I will provide more detailed info.
Enjoy,
Marc Webster
