Removing a deice slip ring

I am installing the SDS CPR2 ignition system (the recent thread has been great) and have hit a snag. By engine was a IO540-c4b5 off an Aztec and has the slip ring installed on the flywheel for heated props.

I have ave to remove this to install the timing magnets and for the life of me cannot see how.

Any help is appreciated.

The answer was to use an angle grinder with a cut off wheel. Not elegant but effective.
