Are there any midwesterners who might like to babysit a 4-place Bearhawk for a week or so? I'm planning to fly to Airventure this year, but I have an unavoidable family obligation in Boston on the Sunday before. Because of this I'd like to position the Bearhawk somewhere in the Midwest in advance, so that we can take an airline flight to pick it up on Monday and fly the short hop to the show. I'd be especially excited about a covered parking spot, but I'd also settle for sturdy tiedown lugs. I can't let you fly the plane while I'm gone, but I can give some rides on the front end and provide access to a builder to make measurements and study how the plane comes together. I certainly would have benefited from something like that while I was scratching my head and looking at a bunch of parts. I can get to just about any airport with airline service pretty easily, and I'll probably be looking to fly to the Chicago area to pick up the rest of my family before going to OSH. We could probably also get the family to CWA or GRR if we had an especially good parking arrangement to make it worthwhile. Also, I'll have an open front seat on the trip from North Carolina to the parking spot, so that can sweeten the pot for someone who might also be interested in some cross country stick time. If anyone can help, please send me an email message (email@jaredyates.com) or call/text 828-308-1543.
