Hi folks. I have a Baby Bush Wheel on my 4 place. With ABW 31†tires on it, it’s the perfect combination.
When it’s on the standard tires, The tail sits a little high for my liking. I would like to have more angle of attack in the three point attitude when I have the standard tires on it.
I have an API, double fork tail wheel sitting on my workbench. I spoke with the folks at API and they told me that it has been used extensively on a Pitts model 12. The Pitts model 12 grosses out at 2250 and has an M 14 P Russian radial engine on the front of it.
i have nothing against the standard Bearhawk tailwheel, I just don’t have one readily available.
Does anyone have experience with the API double fork tailwheel on a 4 place.
Thanks for your input.
