Just wanted to share the Microsoft Access Database that I have been working on this summer. Currently, I have over 75 hours invested in the programing/research and study of my LSA plans to bring the program to this level. This afternoon marks the moment when the concepts is now ready to start accepting data. Feel free to download the Database and give your feedback. I would particularly appreciate feedback from experienced builders that have Access or other database experience to help me identify potential database pitfalls that will show up in the future.
There are two major items that I am wanting to accomplish with this program. First, as a new builder, I needed a way to study, organize and develop my materials list. Second, is a way to log and track my build time. The quarries to accomplish these goals are yet to be fully developed.
To open the program, simply download the database from the attached link. (The file is too large to attach here) Launch the program it in Microsoft Access. Once the database loads, double click on the "BuildersLogF" under the Forms area. FYI - The data that is currently part of this project is found on drawing # 20 of the LSA plans.
One finally disclaimer, the Bearhawk images were taken from various internet sites. If one of the images happens to be yours and you are opposed to it being shared in this fashion, please let me know and I will be happy to substitute another image.
Thanks all,
