Aux tank plumbing

I am working on my wings and trying figure out how people run 3/8 line from the aux tank and feed it into the 1/4 line that comes out of the sight gauge connections at the tank. Are you just using a reducer at the sight gauge connection or something else. It seems going froom 3/8 line into a 1/4 line would slow down the transfer or am I just overthinking it.

Also my quick build wings came with stiffeners in all the bays, do I cut these out to install the Aux tanks?

I prefer to run 1/4in line the whole way. It takes roughly 22 minutes to transfer the aux tanks.
