LSA Firewall Forward?

I know I'm a long way from hanging an engine but there doesn't seem to be any information in the plans regarding firewall, engine mount, etc? How is one supposed to determine things like thrust line/angle, where to locate the engine forward of the reference datum (where is the reference datum?), etc.? Isn't that a part of the aircraft's design?

Some of those details are in the booklet that came with the plans. There is a section on "How to build the engine mount" that gives you some info.

Thanks, btaz. I've been so focused on the plans I forgot about checking the booklet. Bob's wife had e-mailed me when I purchased my plans and said they are working on a revised LSA build manual.
