    Quick question - are you Patrol builders routing out your rib blanks on the aileron noses with a 1/4" bit, including the gaps? They look drawn as 3/16" wide and I could do that but... you understand the temptation!

    I used a 1/8" bit and cut as drawn.

      1/4" here. There will only be 1 rivet on each tap so I don't see that it matters.

        Thank you gents, noted! Most router bit sizes I've seen bottom out at 1/4", but I'll keep that in mind.

          Dremel, Rotozip ,and Dewalt etc. all use 1/8" in their drywall cutters that will work ,But a 1/8" slot drill for aluminum is cheapest and works the best.
