  • Fuselage tubing package

Well, I bought a precut tubing package for the Patrol from Mark. Just wondering if anyone who has used one of these has any advice / comments / etc.

I bought one of the first LSA tubing kits.

    Everything fit great.

There is a link to a photo album and some discussion in the LSA plans built forum.

They key is you will be building your jig to fit the tubing more then fitting the tubing to the jig.

Also, pay particular attention to where you put tack welds and don't tack until you have to. The tubing fits so tightly that it is easy to end up with a tack getting in the way of fitting in subsequent tubes.
