Some of the lines on my Patrol Drawings are blurry. I am not sure about where the 1/2 x 1/16 stiffeners are used on the Patrol rear-spars and I do not want to goof things up
I gather that there are 3/4 x 1/16 cap-strips both front & back, top & bottom = 4 cap-strips each spar
Rear spars have spice-plates both sides. Page 6 Plans for Station-C says 0.032 1/2" x 1/16 both sides,THIS LOCATION ONLY
Yet on middle drawing of page 6 it says 1/16 x 1/2 6061-T6 BOTH Sides Typ.
There appears to be a bit of disagreement in these two statements
Also ... Since the cap strips do not extend down to the outer end of the rear spar, are the rib-attach angle riveted without stiffeners for two of the ribs, then perhaps using a 1/16 x 1/2 filler strip under the rib attach-angle nearest station E?
So I guess my question could be worded this way. Where does a builder NOT use 1/16 x 1/2 stiffeners on the rear spars?
Bergy
