About how long does it take to notch all the tubing for the fuselage? My plan was going to be to purchase a quick build or pre notched tubing kit but with being able to get 50% off tubing from dillsburg it's temping to just do it all... Dan scratch build patrol #243

I didn't keep track of notching time but I had the fuselage tacked together in about 3 weeks working part time (couple of hours each weekday and 8 hours on weekends).

If you are buying from Dillsburg better be quick. They are closing on Monday. If you make up an order you may want to make up a list of things that you want that they do not list on the sale ad. I am getting a few odds and ends that they had. I will be there on Friday to get my order. I expect to get there someplace between 11 and 1. White Silverado with NY tags and Thule racks.
Also - they have a great price on 3/32" clecos. I don't know what the Patrol uses for wing skin rivets but that is what is needed for the LSA.

The are on page 6 of the flyer as $.52/each in lots of 100. That makes the $.26 each for the sale. They have 3/32" listed in the flyer.
The pricing on the steel tubing is per foot. The first column is if you buy a part of a full length. The other columns are the price per foot for a number of full length pieces. Full length is random between 17' and 24'.
