  • center rib lightening holes

Is there any issue with decreasing the radius of lightening holes A and B by 1/4 inch? Not worried by the weight penalty but concerned with aileron cable. Neither my flycutter or my mini-lathe will make the diameter.

Shouldn't be an issue. If needed you could always file a notch for clearance later if needed.

I had to upgrade my 8" drill press for the same reason!
I do have a somewhat related question - are you guys cutting per the diameter shown on the sheet, or are you cutting a smaller circle (3/8" less radius) to account for the flange?

Chewie, I assumed cut per drawing then flange.
