A spar is born

I reached a major milestone on my first Patrol main spar today. Except for fastening, the fabrication portion is complete. The rib attach angles are on, all the holes are full size and all attach fittings are in. It's ready for teardown, paint and reassembly. This is a big deal for me, finally I get to paint something. The opposite hand is well along. I enjoy building but I'll be glad to put these behind me! The only way I could do it was to work on it just about every day. There is light at the end of the tunnel after all. My lawn is suffering. Time for a pint.
