  • Hello, anybody home?

Finally, primer time in the great NW. I love this time of year. 15% humidity, plus I get a chance to change the color of tbe neigbbors Tessla just a little. "Rodney, does our car look just a taste green?" Aileron and flap will wrap up the AL parts on this project. Love spraying outside. Airbrush does the job.

Gerald, I am curious....what airbrush do you use to apply the Primer? What primer are you using?

Stits EP-420 primer base, EP-430 catalist. I started out with a very expensive Paasche, always a PITA. Tried a less expensive Badger and have not looked back. So far I have primed all the aluminum parts with an airbrush.

Gerry I usually wait to spray outdoors until late summer, when wildfire smoke covers up the paint fumes.

Here's what you need to shoot Stits primer outside from start to finish. A fair bit of work, but worth it.
