Hello Guys. Just a little about myself. Hopefully I'm within 3 or 4 hours from my check ride. Man, will that be a day to celebrate. LOL I'm 56 years old, been a career Firefighter for 28 years and have loved airplanes from a very early age. I built my 1st airplane in 2000 from plans ( MiniMax 1100R ), flew it for a couple of years after an old B-29 pilot gave me some lessons in his Super Cub. I then built a TEAM AirBike and just finished a Quad City XS-65 Challenger II. As you can see, I love building as much as I love to fly. I feel like i have at least one more in me and will fly the Challenger until a BearHawk has been completed. I know that this will definitely be the most time consuming plane that I've ever built but that's cool. If it takes me 4 or 5 years to build, then I'm ok with that. Anyway, Thanks for letting me join and I will continue to try and make up my mind either to build the LSA or the Patrol.

Hi Mark, welcome to the site. Would love to see some pics of your projects, I’ve always likes the AirBike....cool plane. I know builders of both a Patrol and LSA, so if you want to talk to them I can connect you. I haven’t flown the LSA but my buddies 180 HP Patrol is a blast!-
