When you move to Marshall, I think Frank (PropMan) is building a LSA somewhere around that area.

Everything in Tx is 200 miles away , so close is relative.

There usually is a fly in at Critterslodge (Centerville) sometime in the Spring and Fall.

You should definitely attend the Reklaw Tx fly in -probably toward October.

        ^^^This is my favorite.^^^^

If you attend Oshkosh you want to buy tubing and rolled sheet metal from Wicks Aircraft on the way home.

Aircraft spruce has an outlet in Fort Worth Tx but they do not have the sheetmetal stocked at that location.

While you are still in Cedar Hill, see if you can find a sheet of MDF.
It was many years ago but I think I got a sheet of 1 inch by 50 inch by 8 feet from https://www.finelumber.com/

I much preferred the (1 inch) MDF you get from a cabinet supply shop.
If you are desperate, the MDF at Lowes is next but it is only 3/4 inch and not as good quality
Homedepot has the worse for MDF.

You need a lot of MDF

Harbor freight is everywhere but this hammer is the most important tool to get:

I really appreciate all of the tips and recommendations. I am scratch building however I have a few other projects ahead of me before I begin. My shop has to be built first that is going up now.
