Today was a nice Friday, so a few of us flew to DI's (LA52) for lunch. I can assure you that you’ve never heard of DI's. It's not on any travel guide and hasn't been featured on The Food Network. It's a couple of miles behind the middle of nowhere. But DI's has a runway! The food is home made and fresh, the servers are friendly and the beer is cold.... Just kidding about the beer. Any nice weekday might see 8 or 10 planes at lunch. When something special is going on, I've seen more than 30 lined up. Today, I couldn’t help but notice that they’re announcing that boiled crabs are now 'in season'. Picture attached.
