  • List of rivets for Patrol

Hello everyone! Does enybody have a list of rivets for ordering on aircraftspruce? I'm just begining riveting the spars and need to order all the quontity for the wings flaps and ailerons. I have a list like this:
    MS20426AD 3-3 1
    MS20470AD 3-2 1
    MS20470AD 4-14 1
    MS20470AD 4-5 1
    MS20470AD 4-7 1
    MS20470AD 5-12 1
    MS20470AD 5-13 3
    MS20470AD 5-4 1
    MS20470AD 5-6 1
the list is with some more quontity than needed in pounds. Maybe someone calculated during building and have the correct figures.

    Hi Olm,
I'm also building a Patrol (I'm second owner of a project), but I can't help you with rivet quantities. I hope someone chimes in with the info you need. Your note brought to mind a couple of questions that I'm curious about, so I'm going to be very rude and hijack your thread, a bit. Please forgive my lack of manners...
When you finish your Patrol, is there a Russian Aviation agency that will inspect it and issue an airworthiness certificate? At some time, in the past, I'd read that there was no 'general aviation' as we know it, in Russia. Has this changed? Does the Russian air traffic control system allow interaction of private aircraft into their controlled airspace? Is there a thriving 'general aviation' community, of airplane nuts like us? Is 100 octane low-lead avgas available?
Sorry for the hijack. I probably have a hundred more questions, but I'm sure to get chastised already...
Keep us informed as you build!

      Hi Bill,
Was surprised by your interest and your knowledge! Ansvering your questions (forgive my bad language in advance): yes there is an agency in Russia wich will check the plane and issue (I hope) sertificate after the project is finished. Luckely there is "general aviation" in Russia with its community and tough guys like in America. We fly with some more bureaucraty than in the US but it is possible. In fact, we have to give flightplan an hour before with detailed information of the flight. After this you can fly ower controlled airspace(if the plan was approved and it is almost allwais approved). As I know, un the US it is much simplier. In 199-th - 200-th there was time with closing many airfields, but now many were reopened. I'm in aviation from 2009th. In 2010 was launched internet fpln service (I think it was an copied from the US sistem).

Great to hear! You certainly don't need to apologize for your english. You write just fine! Especially when you consider that I couldn't write a single word of russian...
We're pretty spoiled over here. I place a Spruce order and two days later, the brown truck delivers it to my house. I guess your logistics aren't quite as good... You should try to get to Airventure, in Oshkosh! It's amazing in any language!

I heard a lot of Oshkosh, may be some day... Now many guys from Russia are at Sun and Fun at this moment.
    Working...
