  • Strut End Bearings

    In order to level my Patrol, I screwed the LH rod end bearing fully into the strut rod and unscrewed the RH bearing, quite a bit. The RH bearing currently has 10 threads exposed, above the lock nut. See photo attached.
    I recall that those bearings are quite long, but I don't recall how many threads are on that bearing. Could someone count threads on theirs, so I can determine thread engagement? I could take the assembly apart, but I figured it might be easier to ask.

    A 1/2 rod end has 1.5 inches of threaded shank. You have 20 threads per inch so the total is 30 threads. The thread length is directly from the Aurora Bearing catalogue.
