That's a good question!
I'm going to go with no though, at least not on the outside radius. Cladding is only about 5% of the thickness. So, on a piece of 0.032", that's only 0.0016". I don't see that micro thin layer of aluminum stretching all the way around the bend. Also, notice that the outside radius is generally duller/less shiny after a bend. To me that's an indication that something on the surface of the metal is different from the rest of the metal.

I am wondering if there is some type of chemical test that could differentiate pure AL from Alloyed 2024 ? Something like a weak water
based solution that you could paint on and if the clad had parted- it might look like the Nevada salt flats...... seems like 2024 has copper
in it I think---
This must be known by those who make lots of parts over form blocks......
