Seat Latching Mechanism

I saw a thread that showed the factory seat latching mechanism, (Installing seat lock pins and compression spings) I had not seen this before. I think the way I did it might be easier and maybe a little lighter if you are scratch building. I honestly don't remember now if I came up with this myself or copied someone else's idea. Including some pictures, ask questions if you need details. I assume it works the same way as the factory's, pull up on the handle to retract the pin.
