Either is fine. The advantage to 3003 is cheaper shipping if you need long pieces. If using 3003 roll out the length you need and get it as straight...

Tail inspection panel

I used NAS516-1A flush grease fittings on the underside of the trim tabs as well as the flap tube bearings. Welded a dime sized piece of .063 before drilling...Last edited by rodsmith; 02-13-2019, 11:13 AM.

I went back and read the antenna chapter in Aeroelectric Connection again. It said a ground plane disk of 5 1/2" diameter is sufficient for the transponder...
