What is abbreviated by "Typ." ?

I imagine it is "typically" but I don't know.
Practice makes it clear that the nominal measurement may not turn out to be the actual measurement.
In this case, there are 33 lightening holes at 3 1/8 and 2 more at 3 1/8.
Mine are turning out to be closer to 2 7/8 but I have to think about each one.
I'm having a great time laying out the rear spar. It's full of little puzzles.

Yup, typical of 33 features. The hole diameters on the rear spar drawing should be pretty close to actual as far as I recall.

I found that I can lay out 3 1/8 holes for the ones that are flanged.
But the holes between cap strips have to be 3 inches. Also at the splice plate.
Part of this is due to the spar bend radius (front and rear) is just a little bit larger than specified.
This means the cap strips can't get quite as tight into the bend as we might like.
