Since my spar spacers were already drilled, I match drilled the attach angles to those when I was assembling the spar. They were back-drilled through from the other side.

We drilled 1/16" pilot holes for the rib rivets on one leg & did the same as Eric. Placed the angles and drilled then back drilled through the spar cap & spacers. There is no alignment issues.. The ribs were then can be positioned and clamped when assembling the wing frame. When everything is happy then the pilot holes are used to drill the angles and rib to the final rivet size. There is no measuring, no drill bit skidding about and the pilot holes put the rivets exactly where intended.. We cut the angles to length for each position & made a picture frame on a pc of plywood to hold a stack of flat angle blanks then drilled one side for the rib spacing, This method was used for all the rib attach and stiffeners. Only one end needs to be adjusted for the length being drilled. After the flat blanks were drilled in stacks they are bent individually in a small brake.
