I would be very surprised if temperature had anything to do with it. Vertical Power shows the VP-X operating temp range as -40 to +85 deg C so you are... -
Also, don't overlook Airtech's YouTube videos. I learned most of what I know about fabric by watching Robbie and his cousin explain things.
