In order to keep as much airflow thru our cowl, we used a 2 inch 6061 alum tube welded a flange to it the same profile as the cowling and riveted it in...

It might have to be backup on the inside with ARGON also, as SS needs to have an inert fgas on both sides when welding. Just a thought.

Hi Nev
This is how I supported my aft end of the exhaust to the engine so everthing moves with the eng no relative movement. 100 hours on so far...Last edited by huntaero; 02-08-2026, 12:21 PM.

Where are you located maybe someone close by can help, i had to adjust mine but we built a Jig fixture as we had to rebuild my partners 4A gear.

For our 4A we used an IO-520 intake tube and modified to adapt our airbox to the forward baffles which are the same size as the RSA fuel servo inlet dia,...Last edited by huntaero; 02-03-2026, 12:50 PM.
