I used a 9 row oil cooler with no problems on cooling, it has cracked so im installing a 13 row cooler mounting directly to the RH rear baffle.

I was 70 when i completed my scratchbuilt 4place, time to get at it. Never too old.

In order to keep as much airflow thru our cowl, we used a 2 inch 6061 alum tube welded a flange to it the same profile as the cowling and riveted it in place and trimmed the fwd end into a scoop. tried with just a flush hole at the begining but not enough airflow so added the scoops as shown...
