stinger brought home the Grand Champion award at the Southeast Regional Fly In held in Evergreen, AL. Congrats to Stinger on your beautiful plans built LSA. On his return trip he covered 261 miles in 2.5 hours (104.4) @ 4.9 GPH.

Instead of using my day off to progress my project, I flew over to Lake City to check on stinger LSA and do some hangar flying. She’s pretty and ready to fly, just waiting on DAR and paperwork. Enjoy some pics.

While bending the tube for my vertical stab i managed to get a little out of plane. If I lay it on my table, the ends are flat but it's about 1/8" proud in the middle. Just wondering if I should start over or someone have a good idea how to take the bow out? I.e. Heat? I could prob clamp...

My plans show T1(1/4 x .035) for the tubing that runs along the back of the rear gear leg. The engineering notice from 2009 (Gear modification needed for larger tires up to 29") shows this tube as T3 (3/8 x .035). What is everyone else using here? T1 (1/4) or T3 (3/8)?
