I'm in the process of installing leading edge landing lights. The lexan is going to be installed inside the wing skin. I'm looking for a sealant to prevent water penetration into the wing that won't affect the lexan and would allow removal if necessary.

Has anyone else had the problem of the aileron cables rubbing at the top of the strut? I am using the larger pulleys and still have the issue. To correct it I need to move the pulleys mount point about 1/2" inboard. I am going to modify the pulley brackets to accomplish that.

Just finished installing my quick build wings on my plans built fuselage. All in all went pretty well. I had Mark send me the wing attach hole drill guides. He mistakenly sent the LSA guides initially, which has a 1/4" and 5/16" drill guide. I hung on to those as I was happy to also have a 1/4"...

I'm concerned about warping these flanges when I weld them to the tank. I know to tack it well, and weld it in small segments. Is preheat recommended or not, do heat sinks help? Hopefully someone in the group has successfully done this. Rod
