    Fuel Flow Transducer

I understand. So either I remove engine-driven pump and plumb directly to carburetor or I install backup boost pump. I was surprised when my engine arrived with the engine-driven pump since I was planning on gravity fed system. I prefer the simpler route and will need to ensure my fuel flow...

    Fuel Flow Transducer

Jared, I only have an engine-driven fuel pump that feeds the carburetor, so the transducer needs to be mounted downstream from the pump, which places it in the FWF area. That area has limited space.

    Fuel Flow Transducer

I need guidance on how to plumb the gold cube fuel flow transducer. Installation guideline recommends 5 inches of straight tubing for inlet and outlet. I’m building a Bearhawk Companion with Lycoming o-360A1A engine and there is little room. Any suggestions or pictures would be appreciated.

    C21 Arrived

Good Luck. I am 90% done with C11 and have 90% to go. Enjoy the process. So far, I have listened to 56 books while building my Bearhawk. It is truly a unique experience.

Transporting Fuselage with Engine to Hangar

I am getting ready to transport my fuselage to a hangar where I will attach wings and finalize assembly. My engine is mounted. I’m concerned about the 30 minute, 20 mile ride on a flatbed with my engine bouncing along. What have others done to reduce stress on the airframe? I can easily remove...

    Companion QB Kit #11

This was the first month building my Bearhawk Companion. I spent more time doing carpentry work than building since I had to knock out a wall in order to expand my workspace from the garage into the house. My wife is the best! Today I installed the Johnson bar for the flaps after watching...

Wing Dimesions for Rotisserie and Wall Storage

I am preparing my single-car garage (11 x 17) for the arrival of my QB Companion kit sometime in May/June. I am planning to put one wing in a rotisserie with the other wing hanging on the wall. The fuselage will be stored off-site. I need to know the length and width of the wing, as well as the...

    LSA on Floats

I live on a lake that freezes in the winter and am interested in building a plane that can be fitted with floats and skis. Would a Bearhawk LSA be a suitable platform? If so, what size engine would be required? Can the fuselage be fitted with two doors? I welcome any ideas, suggestions, and advice.
