No, we thought about it but we will paint it. We have nicknamed it Tinhawk since Brent as a metalworker is a "Tinknocker" and the Bearhawk we are building will have all metal instead of fiberglass. So metal wingtips, metal nose bowl and windshield fairing. The only wood we will have will be the wood strips in the tail to make the tail feathers more aerodynamic.

We used the wood wheels as "shop wheels" since it has taken us years to get to this point. No reason so waste money on real wheels and tires on shop time!
