My Build started last May, May 23 to be exact. 7 months and 10 days later (if my math is right) I have the following completed: All ribs made complete with vertical stiffeners and primed. All pocket ribs complete and primed. All main spar and rear spar webs bent to shape. All main spar and rear spar attach plates complete. Main spar splice plates complete. All primed. All of the various attach angles completed and primed. And finally, I have the right main spar, complete, ready to rivet. Add in all the tooling, benches and other shop stuff and I have been very busy!

Here is a quick video of the right spar as it is now, ready to rivet...

Nice job Dave. You are working fast.

A couple of gotchas I encountered after riveting my spars.....

Only use an 1/8" spacer bar on the backside of the main spar where the aileron support mounts (even though the spar caps are .25 here) .....this allows the aileron support to clear the rivets.

If you can determine where your fuel straps will mount......save yourself from drilling out rivets later.....just leave bolts in these holes until you are ready to mount the tank.
