  • First question!

Ok, let's try this out.... I am building my rib forms and have a question about the bend radius. I used a router with a 1/8th bit for my radius, but in one side, it went a little deeper than I wanted it to. So it would give me more than the minimum radius required. I asked my sheet metal buddies and they said it would be ok, but wanted to ask the guys that have been doing this for a while. Is it a big deal to have a bend radius larger than 1/16, or do I need to build another master rib jig? Don't mind doing it, just didn't want to if I didn't have to. Thanks! Hi Lance. I used a 1/8" radius on my Bearhawk ribs. Not a problem at all. Just need them to all be the same. Eric Newton Eric Newton - Long Beach, MS http://mybearhawk.com

I think I used the same bit. Like Eric said, just need to be the same.
